Real Estate Agent — Funchal, Madeira
You find the right property for buyers from Germany, the UK, the Nordics, and the US — and you protect them while they buy it. You work under Mimpi's AMI license (AMI 26534), inside a team of architects, engineers, lawyers, and tax specialists. You are never alone on a deal, and you never have to sell a client the wrong house to make a month.
What you'll do
- Conduct bespoke property and land searches across Madeira, executing thorough on-site visits and verifications to match specific buyer briefs.
- Act exclusively as the buyer's advocate — spot structural, legal, or technical defects that a seller's agent might hide.
- Guide clients seamlessly through the entire sales cycle, acting as their primary contact from the initial inquiry and property showings to final closing.
- Negotiate favorable prices and transaction terms to protect the buyer's interests from the first call to the signed deed.
- Research options thoroughly to advise clients on local building rights, planning regulations, and financing possibilities.
- Collaborate closely with our in-house team of architects, engineers, lawyers, and accountants to seamlessly resolve complex questions.
- Keep every transaction entirely paperless, managing contracts and communications within a single, organized digital CRM file.
- Provide regular pipeline updates and market feedback to management, contributing to strategic planning sessions for future development projects.
What we're looking for
Required:
- You know the Madeira property market, or you have the drive to learn it fast.
- Fluent English. You will work with international buyers daily.
- A buyer-first ethic: you would rather lose a sale than place someone in the wrong home.
- Comfortable with digital tools — CRM, shared files, video calls.
Nice to have:
- Portuguese, German, or a Nordic language.
- Experience in real estate evaluation.
- You have ambition to become the TOP real estate expert in Madeira.
If you meet most of these but not all, apply anyway.
How we work together
Full-time or part-time employment. As you will have a very important role, we prefer employment. And if you work as a freelance real estate agent representing the sellers from 8:00–12:00, it would mean huge conflict of interest if you would work with us representing the buyers between 13:00–18:00 :)
What we offer
- Compensation: discussed openly in the first conversation — a base salary plus bonuses for employment.
- Fuel compensation and professional clothing.
- Trainings.
- A qualified flow of international buyers — you advise, you don't cold-call.
- The full team behind every deal: legal, tax, architecture, engineering in-house.
- Modern tools, automation, and AI handling the routine so you can be with clients.
- A quality benchmark clients trust: Villa Luis, Caniço — 466 m², finishing December 2026.
