Lawyer — Real Estate, Tax & Corporate — Madeira
You handle real estate, tax, relocation, and corporate law for an international client base we bring to you. The files are digital, the deadlines are kept, and the routine is handled by automation and AI so your hours go to the legal thinking — not the printing.
The work
- Real estate — purchases, due diligence, contracts, registry work.
- Tax and relocation — D7 and D8 visas, IFICI, the legal side of moving to Madeira.
- Corporate — incorporation, drafting, and general contract work for our companies and clients.
- General law of obligations — advising clients on contracts, liability, and disputes.
Clients come from DACH, the UK, the Nordics, and the US. As the turn-key service grows, the legal work grows with it.
What we're looking for
Required:
- A licensed lawyer; membership of the Ordem dos Advogados preferred.
- Working strength in at least one of: real estate, tax, relocation, or corporate law — and the will to build the rest.
- Fluent English for international clients; Portuguese for the courts and registries.
- A modern practice: digital files, good tools, openness to automation and AI for the routine.
Nice to have:
- Experience with international private clients or the IBCM/MIBC regime.
- A team behind you — though solo practitioners are equally welcome.
If you meet most of these but not all, introduce yourself anyway.
How we work together
Employment (full-time or part-time), or preferably B2B cooperation — an avença or per-matter engagement between your practice and Mimpi. Under B2B you remain fully independent: your office, your methods, your other clients. We agree on scope and fees; the founder, a former Estonian attorney with 1,500+ court cases behind him, works with you as a peer.
What we offer
- Fees / salary: discussed openly and early — an avença or per-matter fee for B2B, a clear salary for employment. You will know where you stand before you commit any time.
- A qualified flow of international clients — no marketing spend on your side.
- Multidisciplinary support in-house: tax, accounting, architecture, construction.
- Interesting cross-border work: two jurisdictions in the founder's background, clients from four markets.
- A firm that treats deadlines the way you do.
