Accountant — Certified (OCC) — Madeira

You run the accounting for our companies and an international client base we bring to you. The numbers are right, the deadlines are met, and the client never has to check your work. Automation and AI handle the data entry; your judgment handles the rest.

The work

• Bookkeeping and monthly accounts for Portuguese entities.
• IVA (VAT) filing and compliance, including reverse-charge cases.
• Payroll where clients need it.
• The accounting side of company setups, including IBCM/MIBC structures in the Madeira Free Zone.

As the turn-key service grows, the portfolio grows with it — without you spending a euro on marketing.

What we're looking for

Required:

• A contabilista certificado registered with the OCC, able to work independently.
• Accuracy as a habit: right the first time, filed on time.
• Fluent working English — most clients are international.
• A modern workflow: digital documents, good software, openness to automation and AI.

Nice to have:

• Experience with the IBCM/MIBC regime or non-resident clients.
• A firm with a team — though solo practitioners are equally welcome.

How we work together

Employment (full-time or part-time), or preferably B2B cooperation — an avença between your practice and Mimpi. Under B2B you stay fully independent: your office, your tools, your other clients. We agree on scope, deliverables, and a fee. Objective and simple, as accounting should be.
